I am working a Project SPI-Ethernet interface using ENC28J60 with LPC2148.I have developed the code using Kiel uvision3 but it is giving an Error. the Error is Error:Failed to execute BIN40\ArmCC Please suggest for the Problem.
Did you check if the ARMCC.exe is in the folder c:\Keil\ARM\BIN40\ ? In previous MDK versions the compiler was in a different folder. Search for it and enter the path in the dialog 'File Extensions, Books and Environment'.
Sir i am having the file armcc.exe file in bin40 folder but on some other portal tehy are saying to have bin31 for kieluvision3.1 instead of bin40
Have you installed multiple versions of uvision on top of each other?
Yes Sir I have both kiel uvision 3.1 and Kiel uvisin 4
A careful general would install like:
c:\keil31\ c:\keil40\

Dear Sir, Now I uninstalled both the version of kiel uvision.And now installed only kiel uvision 3.1 but it is not having the toolchains.I think I need to install the compiler. Can you please suggest which one to install for lpc2148
The normal MDK-ARM version of uVision 3.1 should have contained the tool chain for LPC2148. Are you sure you didn't install the C51 version?
But just maybe 3.1 is too old, but I don't think so. I have a version claiming to be versio 3.6 installed in a directory /Keil_320/ and I made that installation originally to work with LPC21xx before I quite soon decided to move to the newer LPC23xx - then I had to wait a bit before Keil released simulation support for the LPC23xx series. I think I got a beta version with 23xx support. But the LPC21xx family is much older than LPC23xx so I would be surprised if version 3.1 didn't have support for it.
Keil has had support for the MCB2140 board since at least 2007.
Dear Sir, The keil uvision i have installed is for C51 and therefore it is not containing ARMCC tools.Can you please mail the keil uvision3.6 to my email taht is firoz.extc@gmail.com As i am not getting keiluvision 3 for ARMCC.If possible can you please give any sources to download it.
The MDK download file has a size of more than 400MB. You cannot get this file via email. Why don't you install the latest MDK version 5.18 and install the so called legacy pack for ARM7/9 microcontrollers? The MDK contains the compiler version 5 now, which is in the folder ARM\ARMCC\BIN. When you open your project, the compiler toolchain will be found automatically. Here are the download links: www.keil.com/.../arm.htm www2.keil.com/.../ Download and install the MDK first, and then the leagacy pack.
