What is the path at which the LED database is to be stored once the dll is copied to BIN folder. I am getting error message of "Missing LED database". Please help!!
I have no idea what you are talking about. We do not provide a LED database. Did you install any add-on AGSI DLLs to simulate LEDs connected to port pins?
Yes I did install those ....I even got the LED option in peripherals menu. But after adding LED & entering port pin addresses to the segments, I am getting this message of "Missing LED database"!!
"Yes I did install those"
I can't see that you anywhere did post what "those" are. How will anyone but you then know what you are talking about?
Don't you think there are certain advantages with posting links to help others know too?
Ok let me make it very clear...can anybody get me through the process of adding & simulating 7 segment LED as a peripheral in Keil uvision3??
But you didn't make it very clear at all.
The simulator itself doesn't show any 7-segment digits.
If you have found any AGSI DLL that can present 7-segment data, then you have not managed to post any link to that library - that really isn't "very clear" of you. Especially since you have received two requests to supply some information/link about that AGSI extension.
You might use the oscilloscope feature of the simulator - but that will not show you any actual 7-segment idigts. All it will show is the state of the I/O pins used to drive the digits.
The LED AGSI that can found here (link provided by SiLabs):
www.c51.de/.../uVision2DLLs.php
includes the CDB "database" and it needs to be located in the C51\BIN folder with the DLL. Also the DLL is looking for a file named "led_control.hlp.cdb" so just rename it.
