I am currently about to download the keil uVision 5 or the MDK-ARM version 5.16 to simulate my 8051 assembly programs. I wanted to know whether this software is compatible with windows 8 or not because in the certain minimum requirements of MDK-ARM version 5.16, windows xp, vista and 7 were listed but windows 8 was not there.
Please reply as soon as possible.

MDK-ARM is for ARM cores. Not going to be much good at simulating your 8051 assembly programs.
