For my senior design project, I am working with a team of three members to build a localization system for Illinois Robotics in Space. We want to use two variable frequency laser located stationary on the collection bin for space debris and a receiver on the robot as well as micro controllers programming the frequency corresponding to the angle swept by the laser as it is moving via a motor. Also for the orientation we want to use a rotating laser on the robot (also with different angles corresponding to different frequencies) and a receiver on the collection bin to track the angle of the robot and give the outputs x,y,theta. I was wondering if you had lasers and micro controllers that are interfaced in such a way where the micro controllers can alter the frequency of the lasers as they are being swept by the motor for each degree respectively when the time period of the sweep is 2 seconds.
