Hi,
Can I use the GNU ARM cross compiler in Linux to compile applications meant for the MCBSTR9 evaluation boards? I believe I would also need additional libraries for the compilation to work, correct?
Thanks, AL
Yes. No.
There are numerous examples on how to do it for various ARM parts. For this purpose, Google should be treated as an acquaintance.
Since when was that a Keil product?!
Don't ARM actively support the GCC compiler suite?
Isn't Keil an ARM company?
Here: launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded
Where it clearly states:
Questions should be asked at answers.launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded
Well spotted.
Let's all go ask some Keil and PIC questions there.
Thanks for the info.
Sorry if it sounded like a dumb question. I'm quite new to Keil/ARM embedded system and I wasn't sure if I could compile my applications on a MAC/Linux without using the ARM-MDK tools.
Cheers
