Failed to Autobaud - Step1

hi friends,
I am new learning for ARM programming truely for to say for programming also .so please tolerate me.

i have NXP LPC 2148 development board with its correct hex file to blink leds (it is checked) file so now when i dumped programm in kit using flash magic with RS323 cabel -- it give error of failed to autobaud step1.

IN flash magic setting like this > step1===> device - LPC2148 ; COM Port - selected ; BAudrate - 9600 ;interface - fdi usb icp lpc2k ;oscillator - 12mhz ..

after all that setting it give error . please help me for solving error ?

and autobaud problem is due to which setting affect it ?
