Echelon system for LIGHTING

Hi,

I am Johnson Philip, Electrical Engineer working in lighting sector.I am from Sydney, Australia. Currently, I am doing a research on power-line based lighting control in association with a prestigious Australian Lighting company.

Most of our light fittings are for industrial purposes such as mining, oil &gas, food processing etc. I 'll explain to you what we are looking for.

Lighting control unit>>"LON WORKS">>>Segment Controller (to be installed with supervisory interfacing s/w) >>>>TCP/IP>>>>>>Human Machine Interfaces

we would like to design our own lighting controller unit (to be fitted inside the light fitting along with the 0-10 V/ DALI ballast). In that case , if I am correct, the system inside the controller will look like as follows,

From power line>>>coupling circuit>>>digital interfacing circuit (?)>>>>PL 3120 Smart Transceiver>>>> EXTERNAL INTERFACING CKT to control 1-10 V/DALI ballast>>>>Existing ballast.

EXTERNAL INTERFACING CKT to control 1-10 V/DALI ballast: this what we would like to know , how to interface with our existing ballast (Xitanium, Philips). Or else how to give 1-10 V dimming signal to our existing Philips electronic drive.

I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
