AppNote 230: no Trace Records, no Event Viewer, Trace: no synchronisation

I have an annoying issue, as I am not able to set up trace to work.

I am using Keil MDK-lite v5.12, standard STM32f4-Discovery board with stm32f407vgt6 aboard, have updated all firmware, software packs are latest version, SWV set up as necessary and RTX_Blinky5 example project is running with Thread & System window responding but, nothing appears on Trace Records window nor Logic analyzer or Event Viewer. also at the bottom of the UV appears "Trace: no synchronization"
