Copy worked fine but pasting into the uVision editor did not work. After disabling Webroot, the paste function worked immediately. I didnt want to run without antivirus software so here were the steps I took to get Webroot to allow uVision's paste.
For Webroot SecureAnywhere: With Webroot's main console open, there should be several tabs running down the right side. Click the small gear to the right of "Identity Protection." Click the top tab labeled "Application Protection." If uVision (uv4.exe) is not listed as an application, click "Add Application" at the bottom right of the screen. Navigate to the install folder of uVision and add the main uVision program (again uv4.exe). Make sure the uVision entry is set to either "Allow" or "Protect." You should be good to go.
