the installation runs until the file size reaches 370 MB and terminates saying " Download completed " upon clicking setup file it gives a error message saying 'Installation file is corrupt, Retry download ' this is my 6th attempt to download the set up file

Any tips would be really help ful

PS : Dunno if it helps but i am using windows 8 OS and a chrome web browser

Thank u for ur time , Cheers !

  • Have you verified that the MD5 sum is correct, and that you have downloaded the whole file correctly? If you don't have a valid file, no amount of magic or hand waving is going to resolve that, short of downloading it properly.

Perhaps you have a problem with your internet service, or you have anti-virus software that meddles with the file. Try using something like Firefox or Internet Explorer.

  • It's common that web browsers are "intelligent" and caches data. So trying to download the same file multiple times still results in the same transfer error that happened the first time.

Switch to another web browser and try to download - then I'm pretty sure you'll get a correct file.

  • The file is significantly bigger than 370MB, closer to 576.82MB
