I have no idea how to initialise i2c for mastermode. Does anyone have sampleroutines?

Maybe the manufacturer of the undisclosed chip you did plan to use?
I plan to use the USIC1 CH0 in i2c mode. I have no idea how to set up the USIC for i2c.
Sorry, the chip is an Infineon arm Cortex XMC4500. I try to set up the USIC1 Ch0 for I2C-mode.
If you could figure out what chip you are using, and communicate that, perhaps you could find some examples among the Board/Example directories?

I took the code from Infineons DAVE and modified it for my application.
