USB problems "USB Device Not Recognized"

Hi.

We will use SAM-BA to flash several independent (data-) segments into FLASH memory of our AT91SAM7X512 target device (at 0x140000 and 0x141000). Our target device seems OK, but Microsoft complains when we connect the USB cable from our target device into the PC for SAM-BA (v2.12) communication.
1) We have pushed our "ERASE-button" for several sec's, powered the unit off, then on again (flash memory should now be erased)...
2) We have the 1K5 pull-up resistor mounted OK, and a pulse-train is seen on the USB-wires when the USB cable is inserted into the PC.

Nevertheless, the following pop-up appears on the PC: "USB Device Not Recognized" when inserting the USB cable.

I'll very much appreciate guidance to this problem.

Regards Terje Bøhler
