Dear all,
The code execution from external flash will take more Machine Instruction cycles than internal execution in controller architecture...?
Can any one elaborate this with more details.....?
Regards Thiru N
How can anyone elaborate on the subject?
You could not even elaborate enough to actually specify an actual processor. The 8051 family is way too big to be covered with any single answer.
Hi,
Ok, will it take more cycles..? if so why...?
it has further to go
Doing homework? Sorry, not interested. Besides, google will tell you more than any of us ever can. Learn to do your research. Seriously, it's important.
Hi Mike Kleshov,
What Do you mean.....? Don't be smart Your self.. If you know tell otherwise keep silence at-least. some one who knows will answer...
hey Thiru. i found it. waiting states.
My dear, Go to installed chip and attach the missing files your self. All this shows that the reffed project is compiled with different options version. The bits are there.
Hi Zab CMetal,
I hope you are not understood my question.
My question is "The code execution from external flash will take more cycles per instruction than code executing from internal controller flash...?" if so how...?
You must know that the resistance of the wires slows down the movement of electrons. an if the wires are longer the electrons will be slowed down more. and they will take longer to accelerate.
