So I've just got my first program working on my new MCB1000 board. I've got a speaker connected but it sounds a bit tinny.
I did put it in an old biscuit tin but I did take it out when I realised the tin was metal.
The speaker sound a bit tinny against the tin anyway, they're much better on a wooden table. Most of the kit I've got there has screw mounts, so would be nice and electrically isolated if secured in place on some wooden boards. Oh I've got 3 buttons on one board now, but that's the only difference. I've got a big gluegun the wires on my power splitter to give them some strain relief and i'll probably glue the power to the splitter board to stop it moving around.
Does anyone have any ideas or instructions as to how to go about making a box? I was thinking about an old speaker or subwoofer box, but I've not idea how to measure it up (especially the knobs). I was thinking of having a shelf so that the amp and power socket would take up the bottom of the box (possibly with holes cut to expose the bass/treble/volume knobs) and then the MCB1000 would be above it with holes cut for the lcd/buttons/speakers.
