Hi,there, I'm a starting programmer and a Linux amateur. I'm orienting to be a completely Linux user. I used Keil uvision when I used MS-OS. Please advice me of a mature software to use in debugging my firmwares.

  • Hello, again,

I'm working on an Opensuse 11.0-i586 operating system, AMD -64bit processor, in a laptop configuation. the operating system was successfully installed as I probed different softs on it. In my low level fast app, I intend to program an ARM cortex M3, or 4 I didn't make my final choice yet.

The programming process topology I used to work with can be concluded as follows:

Intl+MSWin+Softpackage----->> External CPU burner ----->> and My breadboard,

So I just wish to know if there is a similar topology to use in Linux,
I'd appreciate any other suggestions, or any enlightening.

    Thanks,
