I just upgraded to uVision V4.53 and found that "build target files" re-compiles EVERYTHING (for one of my projects, this takes a full minute). Previously, this would only happen if I pressed "rebuild all target files" or changed the pre-processor definitions. "Translate" checks the syntax but doesn't actually update the compiled file (I tried reprogramming the chip and it still ran and debugged commented-out code).
While this will make it easier for me to catch up on my old email and facebook messages, it is not particularly conducive to actual productivity.
Is there a way to change it back somewhere in the Options menu?

p.s. On a positive note, I like the underline added to the tab of the selected file, and there is much less latency in the debug interface when stepping line by line. I still think it would be nice to bring back the option to manually change the file tab order, though.
Never mind, I found the setting to change it back (un-checked "Create Batch File")
