ULINK2 Version Downgrade

I have a ULINK2 with firmware revision V2.01 which does not work with an earlier version of MDK-ARM-V3.53 even after using UL2_Configure.exe to change the bootloader back to ULINK

Is it possible to revert to a previous ULINK version?
V1.37 works with my current MDK-ARM setup

Thanks in advance,

Paul

  • I got the same problem. I was trying the new MDK version 4.71a and when I started debug, Keil asked me to update ULINK firmware. I confirmed, but the procedure failed with the message "Firmware download failed". When I opened Debug Settings View it showed the new version 2.01. However, when I start debug the error message "Could not stop Cortex-M device. Please check the JTAG cable" appears. But it was working seconds before. What to do in this case?
