PREPRINT directive *.i file + comments

Copy Help:
The PREPRINT directive causes the compiler to produce a preprocessor listing file. Macro calls are expanded and comments are deleted and an object file is created.

I need comments in my *.i file. Is it possible to disable the comments delete part?
