led lighting at a pin

I am doing a project on AUTOMATIC RAILWAY GATE SYSTEM.I want to make an led connected to a pin of port P2 of 8051 to light up when a bit of port 1 is set.How to do that.Please help

    But everyone know that if you are doing a project on AUTOMATIC RAILWAY GATE SYSTEM, then you need special extra care about how that LED is driven.

    There is no similarity in the LED driving compared to just a stupid Blinky application. So obviously, it is important to find one or more web forum to collect enough help about this delicate process.
