programmer

hi, i have designed a serial programmer circuit for P89V51RD2FN Micro-controller using MAX-232 and RS-232. i have used an oscillator of 11.0592MHz. but while programming with flash magic with a baud-rate of 9600 a message comes in flash magic reporting that "The baud rate is not matching." can anyone help me .....

    there is no such thing. I guess you mean "I am trying to program via the standard serial interface".

    most likely causes
    your MAX232 connections are incomplete/wrong
    you do not have sufficient chip decoupling
    you have a faulty reset
    you are using the wrong RS232 connections
    you are using a cheapskate USB to serial converter
