Interface between PC and 89c51

HI,

I want to do my first project that interface between PC and 89c51. Can i interface it using other than VB. Please provide suitable links and video.. With Regards, Johnson

    sure ANYTHING that will generate signals from the PC that the micro can pick up can be used

    what do you want RS-232, USB, Firewire, Wireless, TCP/IP, ....

    these days there '80c51' say nothng, the modern derivatives vary greatly, what EXACT derivative do you us
