I' want to temporarily transfer uVision to a laptop.
I guess you have to disable the licence on the PC where uVision currently is installed, however the button in "licence management" reads 'Uninstall'
does that mean that the entire software disappear? or can you just transfer the licence back?
Just to make me feel safe, can somebody that has done this list the process, please.

I have done this recently. Uninstalling the license will not remove the software on your machine, it will only remove the license. You will probably get a message that the license may not be available to transfer to a different machine for up to 24 hours. In my case it did not take that long.

Erik; Remember that you can have your Keil toolset installed on upto two computers at the same time. This allows you a desktop version and a Laptop or Lab version. Also, you can temporarily 'check out a license' for mobil work. I believe this requires that you drop a license from one of your two installations. Bradford
