can't use ST-Link debugger...

Hi. I have a STM32F4Discovery demo board with the STM32F407VGT6 controller on board.

The problem: My new project built successfully. However, the (Keil) IDE (microvision 4) will not download to the debugging but instead displayed the error:

no ULINK device found

From control panel, my Windows 7 clearly sees the attached board via ST-link.

I have tried an example project and that one downloaded to the discovery board just fine.

My IDE setup "appeared" to be correct for use with the ST-Link. Don't know what is wrong.

Please advice on solution.

if the ST-Link is a listed device under project options>debug, select it. If not get a dongle that is listed or use the software that comes with thw discovery board.

I recall using IAR that I had to use the IAR dongle for IAR and the ST-link for the ST "set option bits" program.
