User manual link asks for Username & Password???

I'm sure this must be a silly question, but...

I am viewing the online User Manual for the MCBSTM32F200/400 evaluation board. When I get to the Writing Programs > Keil MDK-ARM page, there is a link to STM32F20x Software Library
http://www.keil.com/admin/mn_manuals/mcbstm32f200_ex_swlib.htm

but if I click on that link it displays a dialog asking for a Username and Password.

My question is, what Username, what Password?

  • Given the filename - mcbstm32f200_ex_swlib.htm - they may actually be Keil-specific examples tailored to the particular Keil board?

But, if there is a username & password required, they aren't going to post that on a public forum!
So should probably contact Keil direct...

  • Thanks for replying. When I asked 'what username, what password', I wasn't expecting literal values. What I was asking is 'where does this username and password come from?' Granted, I am new to Keil, but I am not aware of anywhere on the Keil site where one sets up a username/password. I don't see any login/register pages, etc.

Furthermore, given that it was an embedded link in a User manual for a standard Keil evaluation board, I think that it is unusual at the very least.

  • Looks to me rather like someone forgot to change the "internal" link ("admin") to the public one when they published that manual...
