Storing Messages in C51

Hi,all
I enable all Message Object Registers and Wait for NEWDAT ==1 in C51.
When second and third message has been received, before the microcontroller has read the first one on C51.
My Question's are:
Do these messages automatically writen to idle message object registers ?
What is the easy and stable methodolyg to store messages like that fast?

Thanks!

  • Hi Mr Neil and Westermark,

I opened that account qucikly in the work so sorry. Now this will be my regular account.

"Where in your original post did you mention CAN?
Where in your original post did you mention what specific chip you are using?"

I think i answered your that 2 questions in my previous message to Mr. Westermark . If you dont think so, let me know which part is not clear so i can try to detail about that part.
I gave microconntoller, i defined can messages registers, and the specs, and the problem i have.
i'm new to this site, so pls no offense, just looking for help, if i can, if not thanks again for your attention.

  • We have a saying in English, "More haste; less speed"

That is, rushing something and skimping on proper preparation, etc, is liable to be slower in the end than taking the time to do it properly from the start.

With that in mind, have you taken the time to make proper preparation for this project?

Have you gathered all the necessary datasheets?

Have you spent time studying them?

Have you sought-out and studied other supporting materials - such as examples, application notes, etc...?

  • Hi all,
Can any one help me on that c515c controller recieve message handling. Sorry for my poor english. I am not sure what i can say more, if needed more information, please do not hesítate to ask so i can detail that part, i thought there is a genereal concept in storing fast can messages, i dont know how to fix it and need to learn how.
Mr Neil if you have advices or ideas about my problem i would really appreciate to hear, Pls understand focusing after a distraction will be hard and It'll get us nowhere

  • So - have you checked the dataheet?

Have you searched for examples, application notes, etc?

Have you spoken to your Distributor/FAE/whatever...?

  • So - have you checked the dataheet?
Is it possible to write a program in C without checking datasheet. In datasheet i couldnt capture that info, of course i did.

Have you searched for examples, application notes, etc?
Not all the source on the www, as far as i can search, yes.

Have you spoken to your Distributor/FAE/whatever...?
No, i havent contacted my distributor. Is it forbidden here to start a thread without speking Distributor/FAE/whatever? What is that judgment?

Here is my first thread on this site and 5. message on the same topic, If Mr Neil is satisfied with the answers we may continue.

    Lorito.

  • "Is it forbidden here to start a thread without speking Distributor/FAE/whatever?"

It is expected that you will have done the basic groundwork.

  • You expect what? do basic groundwork with distributor? Are you funcking idiot, you really believe that everyone here, argue\talk with distributor, searched all the source on the net and in the end come here to start a thread.
Despite my explonations, you continued to insist on bicker. You happy now idiot, you have no idea on my question, know nothink about me, and probably 8051 CAN programming and come here to gabbng talk.
What do you want from my topic, and me? What could I possibly give you? Shut the *** up and do not enter this topic again. Now *** off this topic.

    Lorito

  • I might be able to help you, but seeing this ....
funcking idiot ... insist on bicker.... idiot .... Shut the *** ....*** off
my interest in doing so dissapated very quickly

    Erik

  • Lots of people here have knowledge about CAN.
    Or 8051 chips.
But maybe not CAN with your specific chip.
That mean we will not spend too much time looking into questions unless the questions are very specific.
And we do not look into questions when the OP have blown the top.

  • I am sorry for eveybody, i am irritated so unfortunately come to that point. Again and again i tried to start talking on controller i gave datasheet link, defined register i am trying to fix (Message Object Register), recv message and problem but somehow my problem turned to my searching, preparations, contactions with distributor anyway.

I dont know how but if OP can delete my previous messages and i will be glad, it is true i think that all quiet people may have a very bad temper moments and that was my turn. Sorry again.

    Lorito.
