Does anyone know how I can change from static to dynamic IP selection at run time, I want to give the user the option. Do I just stop calling dhcp_check() and restart?

You can restart/re-enable DHCP: http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/rlarm/rlarm_dhcp_disable.htm
