I have encountered serial number expired. No matter what I changed to the source code, the hex file generated is still the same. What happen?
Maybe something to talk with Keil about. This is an end-user forum - check the page links for official Keil support.
"Serial Number Expired" = Licence Expired
That means you have to pay to renew it!
As already noted, you need to contact Keil (or your distributor/supplier) to arrange this.
It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any source code!
this is only a problem if you update uVision. Keil want you to pay for updates.
if you leave well enough alone you can use uVisiobn as long as you desire with no support and no updates

BTW: it's not just uVision; it's the entire toolset - including compiler, liner, etc.
Should, of course, be, "compiler, linker, etc"
