Hello, my question was about one of the methods of opperation for the ATD peripheral. If you have a single conversion mode and a software external even start. How does the converter know which input to convert. Does this single conversion mode still use the sequence registers even without the scan mode set?
Wouldn't you think that this would depend on which processor you have?
ARM makes processor cores. Each buyer of an ARM core can then merge the core with whatever peripherials they think will sell well.

Again, "Cortex-M3" is a processor core - not a chip.
You need to state what specific chip you are using.

You can identify the specific chip from there; you then need to go to the Chip manufacturer's website for the specific documentation on that chip...
