ULINK2 works stable only with 5 KHz JTAG clock at my job computer. Computer is Celeron 2.4 GHz, MB ASRock P4VM890, 512 MB RAM, XP SP3. Its enough hardware requirements for uVision? uVision version is 4.01. ULINK2 firmware v1.41 At other modern computer it works OK. I think problem may be in ULINK HID USB implementation.
I believe that you are attempting to run with insufficient PC RAM. Most of the time you will be running from virtual memory with very poor timing so uLink2 fails to run at a higher speed. I seem to remember that the eval software required 512MBytes of RAM as a minimum.
