LPC11c24 : CAN does not work during debugging through Keil.

Hi

I am using a LPCxpresso board for lpc11c24. I have disconnected the link and the target part. I have taken the SWD pins from the target side and use it with ulink2 for programming and debugging through keil compiler. I am able to do this but the CAN from lpc11c24 does not work when ulink2 is attached. So, I am not able to debug for CAN. The CAN does work when I remove ulink2 and power it up normally. What could possibly go wrong here?
