^^^^^ don't listen to this guy, he's one posting under my name
... the issue would still be valid

almost as if I am talking to myself

If you really are me, what number am I thinking of?
I am, fortunately, not. although this is not (yet?) affecting property. it still is identity theft. since you have managed to assume my identity here, is that just a trial baloon?
Well, a poster with too high "profile" got caught out when he calling someone else unprofessional and not acting properly in a "technical" forum. What more was to be expected?
The footprint of failure will stay in this forum, so if his employer requires him to ask questions here he will obviously need to use another name next time he visits. Question is - will it be enough or will there be more immature outbreaks?
someone managed to enter a post in my name...
erik, please take care of yourself.
posing as another is quite easy, really.
Of course it is. It is almost trivial if the only goal is the name. Way, way harder to make a convinsing impersonation.
A good troll would manage to either make a good enough impersonation that it's funny. Or enough convincing to make peaople really upset by being controversial enough in a believable way.
The average troll just manages a "sigh" at lost bandwidth.
"Way, way harder to make a convinsing impersonation."
what about my impersonation was unconvinsing (sic)?
