Is there anyone in the NY metro area that can help (time will be compensated) with converting a legacy 80C31 application (Archimedes C51 & A51) to Keil?

Does it have to be local?
Could it be done remotely?
Facility is in Plainview, NY. The code is embedded in hardware for a temperature control unit for an aerospace application. On-site work might be needed to verify that the recompiled software performs the same as the original in the target hardware. Thanks for the link to the consultant list. I'll check there.
You're welcome.

:-)
Hope this forum is not turning into a free advertising platform for consultants drilling for jobs.
.. at least stand by your statements and use your name.
anyhow, your post is totally misplaced, this was not "free advertising platform for consultants" it was somone looking for as consultant.
whether that would be OK is a totally different story.
Erik
But as a consultant, it could then have been seen as promoting the very thing being questioning.

When a post is specifically seeking the services of a consultant, it seems perfectly fair & reasonable - and only to be expected - that consultants will post in reply!
There is no facility for "private messages" on this forum, and the OP didn't give any other contact details.
Of course, unsolicited posts touting for business is an entirely different matter; eg,

Now that depends on one's point of view.
So what's your point of view?
In what way(s) do you consider it unfair and/or unreasonable?

No worries. If the forum provided profiles or signatures, a link to one's consultant database entry wouldn't be out of line, in my opinion.
OP asks a question and gets an answer -- from someone with firsthand knowledgeable about the consultant database.
Geez, it's not as if you're spamming the forum with ads.
If I only had the time...
