i am doing embedded project and it was home automation using 8051 microcontroller through sms.how can i send sms from my mobile to gsm modem without pc? give me some ideas

    How do you think that sending an SMS to a GSM modem would be any different from sending an SMS to any other GSM Device - such as a phone??

    This is a very common project indeed, and there are very many examples of it all over the internet - a little googling should give you plenty of ideas!
