upon building my application in keil I get
following warning

*** WARNING L2: REFERENCE MADE TO UNRESOLVED EXTERNAL

Sorry, but we can't possibly know what "my application" looks like. What external symbol? Have you checked your spelling? Have you checked that you include all required source files in the project?
