Hi guys, Does anyone know what is the thermal sensor on ordinary Ð4 paper laminators? It si look like a diode? Does anyone have a circuit of any A4 paper laminator? Can it be a bi metalic strip? Can they be connected to a processor? or will it be to hot? If i get the emulation copy will it have example code? Will there be one for laminator driver? Can the processor run from the 110V-200V current? Is C fast enough for a project like this? I will ask more questions later.

Just a few more questions. I am now looking for an 8-bit microcontroller without external oscillator and capacitors and could execute at clock frequency of at least 8MHz and better above this frequency? could anybody recommend me some microcontroller series that do not require external oscillator and could operate at high speed of 8MHz or better? Can it be programmed in C? Can I put a spare oscillator on it if failing? Will it have to many spare legs? If i decide to do an A5 laminator will the code be smaller? What other languages are considered for a project? And lastly is an arm better?
FINALLY I now have more questions? Can anybody explain the advantage of these Micro. types? I have this problem trying to build hex from asm, with my IDE. It won’t create a hex file? If it shows me the problem BUILD FAILED what does it mean? Can someone help? This is a working project downloaded from EPE Magazine. so I know it works. Anybody know the problem and how to fix it?
You need to tell us what failed and what the actual error message reads. My crystal ball is not calibrated to your posts. Look at the SiLabs C8051F... devices. Most run with no crystal and most will run faster than 8 MHz. Bradford
I think you must've lost a page or two - maybe they got stuck in the laminator...?
Or maybe you put them through the shredder by mistake?!
