how to enter into debug state?

Hi,

I am working on LPC2368. we have constructed our own debugger having parallel port provision on that. I have taken the reference from,

www.techtoys.com.hk/.../ARM_JTAG_DIY_Schematic_RevA.pdf

www.techtoys.com.hk/.../HJTAG DIY Guide.pdf

According to the user guide i have followed the steps but at the step where i have to press CHECK button i got error. After that i have pressed RESET button above to CHECK and started from starting step once again. From that time onwards i am getting error as " Unable to find target. Please make sure that the hardware is properly connected and powered up". Past from 1 month i am facing this problem. Please help me out. How can i make LPC2368 to enter into Debug mode.

Thanks in Advance...

Regards,

  • Let me get this straight, you have spent 1 month trying to get the device to enter debug mode with a homegrown Parallel Port JTAG adapter? An adapter which, by the way, was not built by Keil Software...

So the extra 50$ to get the dev board with a ULINK-ME was too much? I'm assuming you are using a Keil dev board because I don't see why else you would be posting in this forum.
