mci_init()

Hi,
I am working with lpc313x.
1. In want to generate an IRQ using the Event Router, but i'm not able to understand on how exactly it can be done.
2. And also not able to track how mci_init() is called when the SD card is plugged to the board.

Please give suggestion regarding this.
