I've a DS89C450 uC, but i'm not able to program at it. I found some circuits, but all use serial interfacing. And i don't have a serial port Smile Do you know a way around this? I know I can buy a usb to serial convertor, but since usb has 2 I/O en the uC uses only Tx/Rx i'm sure there is a way connecting it directly to my usb port.

An airplane normally has wheels. But that doesn't mean that an airplane can be run on the railway tracks.
Don't just assume that communication using the same number of signals and the same voltage levels are compatible.
