hello TECHIES.
It says we have got to do a emulator a fuse giving consideraion to power consumtion. 500ma to 30A. Any language on any micro. C or C++ on a cordex?
Any ideas?
"A real fuse consumes no power at all..."
Technically, that's not strictly correct.
Unless the fuse is a perfect conductor - In which case, it probably wouldn't carry out the function required of it.
Now ... an emulated fuse might be different?!
Maybe simulated fuse is a circuit in a Spice simulation. Maybe it's an alternative name for an electronic fuse. Maybe it is a physical simulation in materials, taking into account resistivity, cooling, smelting point, ...
In this case, we have too little information.
Maybe the requirement is an intelligent, reusable fuse that should be sensitive enough to activate at 500mA, but may not get damaged by 30A or may not produce too high voltage loss at 30A.
Maybe the fuse activation current should be possible to adjust within 500mA and 30A.
Yes - I wondered who'd be the first to spot that one...
Commonly known as a, "Circuit Breaker"...?
