C51 Toolchain under Visual Studio IDE

I like this message very much, ohh! what's pitiful! it's 2 years ago. but I really hope the writer or someone can send VS51.exe. thanks!

    An IDE is just a tool - Agreed.

    It won't affect your ability - Not sure about that. A screwdriver is just a tool, but getting a screw in can be tough when you don't have one of the right type/size.

    It won't affect your competence - Not sure about that. Using code completion and tooltips etc can increase your knowledge of the language when you're starting out. Hopefully, with more knowledge will come competence.

    For my part, I don't use IDEs much. I stick to using my good old faithful editor.
