Hi,
I installed DS-5 on RH WS5 machine. When I go to File -> New -> C Project or C++ Project from the menu, I don't see the ARM project types listed. Instead I only see the standard CDT project types? Am I missing something in the installation process - setting path, etc, that is causing this behavior?
Thanks, Raj
Hi Raj,
This is expected behaviour. Please refer to the below knowledgebase article on creating new C/C++ projects for ARM Linux targets.
http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3498.htm
As the article says, the recommended approach is to start with an example project that comes with DS-5 as a template.
Vinod
Hi Vinod,
Thanks for the information. I believe this behavior is only for the trial version and the actual product will include the managed make flow for ARM linux targets?
That's a fair assumption. ARM Linux toolchain integration into the Eclipse project creation workflow is on the list of features that we plan to add.
Thanks, Vinod
