Good day to all (and Tsuneo ;))
My MCB2300 USBMEM sample works well on all tested 32 bit Win versions including 7. But on Win7 x64 it does not.
Device manager lists a mass storage that is said to be working well, but no drive shows up in explorer. Are there any new limitations in x64, eg regarding minimum drive size?
Any hints highly appreciated. Uli
On my side, the original example is loaded to a KEIL MCB2300 board. C:\Keil\ARM\Boards\Keil\MCB2300\USBMem
A Win7(x64) PC (clean install one) mounts the MSC device without any error. The text file on the drive is also read out correctly.
It may be a problem specific to the Win7(x64) PC.
1) Does the Win7(x64) PC mounts other USB stick without any error? 2) Do you have any chance to try it on another Win7(x64) PC ?
Tsuneo
yes, I took my sample from c:\Programme\Keil\ARM\Boards\Keil\MCB2300
File-Timestamp is May 2009
no, no other PC in reach yet (will try to get hands on one)
thanx as usual !!
short update on this:
both Win7/64 PCs were configured by the seller not to acccept ANY USB devices. This is really very cool for new PC - so there was no problem on ARM's side at all.
