PK51 snding a 0xA5 instead of 0x55 for autobaud

I am trying to use PK51 to program/flash P89LV51RC2 using ISP (In-System Programming). However, PK51 sends character 0xA5 instead of 0x55 ("U") during autobaud phase, which causes P89LV51RC2 to not enter into ISP.

Flash Magic works correctly and I can use it to flash P89LV51RC2 without problem.

Help is greatly appreciated.

    I need to be able to debug and step through my program, not just flash the 8051 device. That is why I want to make PK51 work in ISP mode directly with P89LV51 devices.

    Is there a way to configure PK51 to send a different byte during autobaud phase?
