I see a new uLink Pro on this website. The comparision matrix seems to show only the EMT Instruction Trace ability over the uLink2 and a higher clock spec. My question. Has anyone used the uLink Pro in actual debug operation outside of the Keil developement people? Does the EMT trace for Cortex-3 have any great advantage? I have the other three uLink devices. Always have trouble with high clock rates. They work fine for lower clock rates. The uLink Pro shows a much higher clock rate specification but I can't meet the clock rate specs for the slower uLink2. Bradford
Hi, there is a note on http://www.keil.com/products/ulinkpro/default.asp
ULINKPro will be available September 2009
Stefan; Thanks for the heads up. I missed the note on the release date so my post was a bit premature. In fact I missed the entire link. It was not there previously and there was a comparison matrix for the four models of uLink. I can no longer find that matrix but no matter. The unit is still not yet available and the only difference I see is the ETM and the higher clock rate. It would seem to me, the instruction trace ability would have some advantages. I know other J-TAG modules offer this feature so it must offer advantages. Bradford
