And the relevance to Keil products is?
none directly, but we did have a discussion here a while ago about safety in which avionics got involved. I hoped this link will serve as an interesting reference, as software failures are clearly involved.
"Never blindly trust sensors"
is there anything that we should *blindly* trust in life?
have a look here:
http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread14479.asp
to see how a certain flight control system did indeed trust sensor blindly and killed 9 people in the process.
He's off on one again.
You are talking about the OP there aren't you?
As often stated by a frequent poster, if you have the temerity to disregard someone else's remark and more severely to disregard the importance of safety in our profession, I would have expected you to have the personal fortitude to reveal your true name rather than a moniker.
"I would have expected you to have the personal fortitude to reveal your true name rather than a moniker."
but if you had learned from your own experience, you would have known by now not to *blindly* trust any moniker.
I agree with the spirit of this statement, even though I don't think it is accurate.
"...reveal your true name rather than a moniker."
Excuse me.
A moniker?
In our profession, it is customary to research all the detail before arriving at a conclusion.
Write code based on those false conclusions and ...
Of course, you know that ... Don't you?
