Hello, could you tell me, wether the AN2131 from Cypress shares CODE and XDATA-memory? And how do I have to configure the CODE and XDATA-spaces in the BL51-dialog?
Regards, Stefan
hello my freind,
the an2131s. it is long time when i used this but i remembar some of it still
it shares some space for code and xdata. it is a processor for usb and has something called *** renumeration ***. this can be v good for some projeks becoz the (pc) driver can send code to the device when it connects. code downed to xdata space and run as code.
why do'nt yo look at the datassheet in section 3.1 and u see the detail.
always yo're freind.
In the datasheet in section 3.1 there is a memory-map, okay. But which one is the right? There is a 4kByte and a 8kByte-memory-map... When I know, which one is right, then I also know, how much RAM I have to divide into XDATA- and CODE-memory for the program?
helo again my dear friend.
the datasheet does give the information. but yew must learn to read it and understand it. even poeple who say they are profesionals sometimesdo not do this (yew know who yew are!)
but now for help for yew. look at section 1.17 of the datasheet. it has feetures for each processor in teh family.
good luck in yo're work. i must go agin. forever. arivirerchey.
Zeusti.
Oh, thank you very much Zeusti ;-) Sometimes reading can help... Okay, and refering to the 8kByte-memory-map I have the addres space from 0x0000 to 0x1B3F of the RAM for free usage and I have to divide this into a CODE- and a XDATA-space?
I hope, you won't kick the bucket :P
Stefan
