the above are actual commands extracted from a .bat when I make the job there is no linkage to C source if I make a 'synthectic' main in assembler there is linkage to it "the first place you go blind is on the eyes" what is it I can't see?

PS removing 'CD' makes no difference
'linkage' above may be better known as 'address correlation for line ...' when trying to set a breakpoint in the source
solved, need 'OBJECTEXTEND' added. no such in the ducumentation
well, the famous "between a rock and a hard place" = "between Keil and SIlabs" hit again. when you include OBJECTEXTEND the debugger craps out in any watch.
I have informed both Keil and SILabs support, let's see what happens
