I am trying using the Silabs USB Debug adapter to load and debug code on a C8051F130 and without any luck. The uC is after the Xilinx XC952888XL CPLD , so I configured the KEIL JTAG setup as 1 device before, 0 device after 8 bits before and 0 bits after. I believe these setting are correct since I am able to load code with the SiLabs Flash Programming Ulitity using the same setting. I can also load code to the SiLabs demo board using the KEIL IDE (one JTAG device) so it leads me to believe that the problem has something to do with muliple devices in the JTAG chain. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks Doug
Upgrading to the lastest SiLAb uVision driver will solve the problem
Finding the SiLAbs uVision driver that happens to match will solve the problem.
SILabs and uVision "out of synch" seems to be a frequently recurring problem, which makes me wonder: are todays kids unable to works outside an IDE that wipes their butt too? What is the HUGE problem with uvison and SILabs as two entries on the taskbar
