Run Keil C51 Compiler on Windows XP

Hi,
the last thread does not help me.
I have an Keil C51 Compiler and a parallel-dongle on an PCI-to-Parallel-Card. The Dongle works fine on an Windows 2000 PC. Install the Compiler and Dongle Driver works fine. But if i click compile, the PC is not working. Its compiling and compiling...
Is it possible, that this old Compiler with the old parallel-Donlge isnÂ't working with Windows XP?

Nico

ps.: sorry for my bad english

Possible? Yes, but unlikely. For a more specific answer, you'll have to reveal what "this" old compiler's version actually is. I'm quite sure that versions 6 and 7 of C51 work just fine on XP; includiding their dongle. Been there, done that.
