ULINK supports wat all?

Hi friends,
Could you people help me please,
Kindly let me know, can I use ULINK(provided by KEIL) with evaluation(demo) version of KEIL on ARM7 (LPC2129) & ARM9 (AT91RM9200) generic boards?

  • If you can supply me with the schematic diagram of my Pioneer BDP-LX91 so I can build more of them...

  • uLink is a Keil product. The guys at Keil make their living by making and selling them (among other things!).
They do not release the schematics, nor the software - it is not open-source.
If you want one, you have to buy it from Keil.

However, there are many Open-source JTAG adaptor projects on the web - so you could try one of them.
(don't know if any work with uVision, though).

Note that Luminary Micro (now part of TI) do publish the schematics of their debug interface - so you could use that if you're using a Luminary product...

  • Thank you Andrew,
I did not know that I can not get ULINK details.
    I am using ATMEL's ARM9 AT91RM9200.
I do not think I have any other option to buy the ULINK

  • Of course there are other options!

The uLink might well be the best option - but that's impossible to say without knowing your specific requirements!

Generally, the debug adaptors from specific tool vendors (Keil, IAR, Raisonance, et al) are proprietary to that vendor and will only work with that vendor's tools.

I don't think that any of the other tool vendors publish the designs of their adaptors?
